In addition to advanced suspension tuning, Metric is a highly advanced, full service engine customization and service facility, with state-of-the-art machining capabilities. Metric's Ducati Factory-Trained service technicians can provide quality service and repair on your Ducati motorcycle. We offer a very competitive alternative to the dealers for major service items, such as desmodromic valve system inspection and resetting.

We are also home to Houston’s most advanced dyno testing center using our Factory Pro EC997 Dyno development dynamometer.

On- and off-road motorcycles; cruisers and road race bikes; ATV and utility 4-wheelers—it does not matter. Our facility can accommodate any project. From the basic service and tune up, to the complete overhaul of engines, suspension and chassis. And don’t forget, Metric has the best tire changing and balancing equipment available, as well as great tire prices.

For suspension work, in addition to being Houston’s Race Tech center, we offer a wide variety of service for all brands of forks and shocks. Products from manufacturers such as Ohlins, Penske, Fox, Marzocchi, KYB and Showa, can all be serviced, modified, and overhauled, with expertise and the correct tools. All shock and fork internals go through the rigorous process of ultrasonic cleaning and polishing before being built and set up for each specific purpose. Motocross to dirt track, road race to street cruiser, your set up will be tailored to your riding environment and style.

Engines are built with the application of years of experience and the industry’s state-of-the-art equipment. Metric’s services range from crankshaft blue-printing to custom valve seat work to cam degreeing. Valve seat and guide replacement followed by multi angle seat work is all precisely set to an equal height and surfaced to perfection. From big bore kits to stroked crankshafts. All work, including clutch and transmission modification, is tested on our load-control Dyno after assembly.

Fuel injection (FI) and carburetors can be rebuilt and serviced at Metric. Services include custom FI mapping of aftermarket fuel management products, such as Power Commander and TuneBoy. We can also custom map the Suzuki OEM FI chips with our Teka SFI from Factory Pro. All custom fuel injection mapping is set up and tested to perfection on our Dyno. Carbs are cleaned and rebuilt, not just cleaned. Fuel tanks can be relined, as well as any other service necessary to the fuel system. We also carry VP race fuel.

Before we release your motorcycle, ATV, or four-wheeler, we test our work on our Factory Pro EC997 Dyno. Whether it’s a cruiser, super bike, motocrosser, ATV, Mule or other 4-wheeler, we have the knowledge and desire to work on your machine.
